Happy Halloween month!

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the decorations. I love the weather. I love the leaves as they change color and fall. My neighborhood is getting in the spooky spirit and it's wonderful!

Book update: I'm making excellent progress on book #4. I've written some scenes I love that may end up being cut someday, but maybe not. Sometimes I wonder if I write too much information. I want the reader to want to read about these characters because they care about them. The reader doesn't need to know every little thing, though, so I'll have to hope my judgement is okay.

My editor/logical advisor (aka one of my sisters) only proofread half of it, so I hope there aren't too many logical mistakes in the second half of the book. I hope this is book is entertaining to those who enjoy the genre.

Book #3, Zeke's Case, is up at the CreateSpace store! I will update the links for Amazon and Kindle tomorrow. I have proofread this book so many times that it will be embarrassing when I catch more mistakes, but so be it.

Now I will continue my work on book #4 without feeling like I'm cheating on book #3 😉.

Almost there...

Book three is nearly done. I have to go through it one more time and *hopefully* it will be ready.

Books one and two will be offline for a day (maybe two).

I started work on book four... and then I started work on book four again.
I've played with at least five different beginnings and I think I've finally found the point at which I'm supposed to begin.

Thank you to the five (I'm probably shooting too high with that figure, but, oh, well) people who have read my book! I really do appreciate it. 😊

Book three is still in the editing stages. As for book four, I wrote about 3/4 of it before I knew it wasn't working and am back at square one.

I managed to read a lot in 2016. I'm most excited that I finally read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. I was really happy that I enjoyed them. I began reading LoTR when I saw The Fellowship of the Ring in the theater, but put it down not long after. It was in my things fifteen years before I picked it up again last December. I managed to finish reading LoTR right before the fifteenth anniversary of FoTR coming out in theaters. I used to always say my favorite character is Merry. I liked him as a character in the movies and I'm a Dominic Monaghan fan. Now that I've read the book, I know I'm a Pippin fan. Bilbo Baggins would be my favorite The Hobbit character. Taking The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings as a whole, my absolute favorite character is Gandalf.
