I have finished a draft of book #3!
Now, it's editing time.
I've already started on book #4.

Just a quick update.
I'm very nearly done with a complete draft of book #3, Zeke's Case! I'm at the important climax of the book and am excited to finally write down scenes I've had in my head for years.

I'm making slow progress with book #3, but I've come up with some great ideas and I look forward to using them. I'm about halfway done and I feel a lot better about this draft than the first one.
I've been reading a lot lately. I borrowed some of my sister's Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys from the '80s. Now I'm reading a few titles from the older series. I have a bit of a crush on Joe Hardy. I've finally read The Hobbit and enjoyed it. Also, I read a series from the '80s called Couples. Couples is a lot of fun, but the books lost their charm near the end. Even as an adult I enjoy them, but I imagine they're more fun to read as a pre-teen or teenager.
Some authors I like are W. Somerset Maugham and Keigo Higashino. I first began reading W. Somerset Maugham's works when I watched the movie The Razor's Edge on Fox Movie Channel a long time ago (at least over ten years ago). I like his writing because he knew how people think and represented them realistically in his novels. Keigo Higashino is a famous mystery writer in Japan and his novels are slowly being translated into English. A number of his works have been adapted into television series and movies in Japan and I've seen quite a few of them. The translations are easy to read and his stories grab you instantly. The few novels of his I've read, I've found hard to put down once I get started.
I just felt like promoting some things I like. There you have it.

Hello!
I haven't been writing lately. I've been sick, but now I'm feeling better and I'm looking forward to returning to my imaginary world. I do love the characters I've created and I've missed them. Book three was coming along all right before I became ill, but since I've had time to think about things I know there's some re-writing I'll have to accomplish with the beginning chapters. It's nothing new for me to restart a few times (or more than a few times), so I'm not discouraged.
I know that not that many people have read my book (I think I can count the amount of people using both my hands) and I don't even think any of the people who have read my book visit my blog (because I've just recently added the link address in my self-published book), but no matter how you've stumbled upon this blog I welcome you. If the plot of my book interests you I hope you'll consider buying it. Becoming an author has always been my dream and if self-publishing has made that happen, I'm happy. I don't know if I'll ever get to a point where this can be my career, but I won't give up my dream.
Sorry for that little sentimental paragraph. Anyway, no matter what book you're reading right now I hope you're enjoying the journey.
